Unity Boy’s Soccer defeated rival Lighthouse at Raimondi field on Wednesday, tying the season series at one game apiece. Unity 10th graders Fernando Garibay and Cristian Casian led the charge, with Garibay breaking through on a tremendous transition play to score the first goal of the game, and Casian leading all scorers with two successful lightning strikes. The game was anchored by a tenacious defense, led by senior Cesar Arroyo and junior Javier Marin, and senior midfielders Kendall Escalante and Brayahan Padilla. Unity next faces Oakland International and long-time rival Arise at the game of the season at Raimondi field on Thursday, October 20th. Come out and show your support!
